Vienna/Warsaw – At the gala night at the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) the leading Austrian issuer of certificates has been awarded for its outstanding commitment in the development of the Polish Market for structured products in 2016.
For Heike Arbter, Managing Director at RCB and Head of Structured Products, the WSE award is a great honor: "For over 10 years now, our products are represented in Poland, the largest Eastern European Market. According to our perception as innovation leader, we have been working a lot to introduce certificates – as first issuer – to the stock exchange and to entrench them among the investors as a stable portfolio part. In collaboration with WSE and the local Raiffeisen Bank Poland we have reached our goal. The fact that our work is now appreciated by leading polish experts is a great honor and pleasure for my team and me."
The market share of more than 50 percent underlines the important role of RCB in the segment of structured products at WSE. More than that, in the past year RCB repeatedly achieved to increase the open interest of certificates with its cooperation partner Raiffeisen-Polbank (+15 percent). Thus, RCB remains the leading issuer of structured products in Poland.
The annual gala night of WSE aims to solemnly conclude the past stock market year and to award certain capital market participants, who stood out due to special achievements.
