Raiffeisen Centrobank (RCB) along with its partner Lazard & Co acted as financial advisor to EQT VI in the acquisition of UC4, the largest independent IT process automation software vendor worldwide, from Carlyle Europe Technology Partners and the founder Franz Beranek for an enterprise value of EUR 220 million.

Founded in 1985, UC4 employs over 300 staff and has a strong and loyal base of more than 2,050 blue chip corporate customers. The company generated revenues of EUR 62 million in the past fiscal year ending in April 2012. The company is headquartered in Wolfsgraben (close to Vienna), Austria and Bellevue, USA.
The transaction is subject to all necessary approvals from the relevant authorities and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter 2012.
