The Capital Protection Certificate USD Gold Winner 90% enables investors to participate 100% in the performance of the gold price up to a maximum of +22% in relation to the starting value. The certificate is suited to safety-oriented investors, who expect the gold price to post at least a moderate rise within in the next five years, and who also wish their investment to be 90% capital protected at the end of the term.

Payout Profile:

At the initial valuation date the starting value of LBMA Gold Afternoon Fixing Price as of November 25, 2021 and the cap (122% of the starting value) are determined. At the end of the term the performance of gold is evaluated and one of the following scenarios will apply:

• SCENARIO 1 – Gold price performance is POSITIVE
  … and BELOW the cap of 122%
  1:1 participation in the gold price performance, e.g.: gold price +20% → redemption: USD 1,200
  
  … but ABOVE the cap of 122%
  Redemption at the maximum amount, e.g.: gold price +50% → redemption: USD 1,220

• SCENARIO 2 – Gold price performance is NEGATIVE ...
  a) … but ABOVE 90% of the starting value
  1:1 participation in the gold price performance, e.g. gold price -5% ► redemption: USD 950
  
  b) … and BELOW 90% of the starting value
  Capital protection of 90 % applies at the end of the term, e.g. gold price -30% ► redemption: USD 900
   

The 90% capital protection by Raiffeisen Centrobank AG only applies at the end ot the term, i.e. during the term the certificate price may drop below 90%, but the investor obtains at least 90% of the nominal value at the maturity date.

The certificate is denominated in USD. If the cash flows from the certificate (repayment) are later converted into another currency, additional risks as well as opportunities arise from possible fluctuations of the currency price in relation to the nominal value.
